If you ever find yourself in the Province of Tarlac, wanting a taste of continental cuisine, then you mustn’t leave until you’ve had dinner at Primadeli.
Chef Karl James Mallari – born and raised with the humble beginnings of an original fast food chain, called King Burger, and an original steak house, called St. James in the province – brought Italian cuisine to Tarlac City in December 2011. Starting off as a catering service, Primadeli introduced a whole different flavor to Tarlaqueños, which Chef James learned from an international culinary school and under an American-Italian Chef’s tutelage.
As Primadeli gained popularity, it adapted to local taste and provided for what Tarlac – a melting pot of Tagalog, Kapampangan and Ilokano palates – actually craved for. Thus, its menu was slowly conceptualized and built around the fusion of Western and Asian cuisines with that of Italian.
The restaurant now stands along the calm San Sebastian-Fairlane By-Pass Road to maintain its cozy and serene ambiance. So a quiet night with friends for beer, hard drinks or cocktail out in the restaurant’s Al Fresco area or inside the air-conditioned rooms should be perfect. One of these rooms may be used for small gatherings and events, where about 15 people could sit and sing karaoke.
Among its bestsellers include ribs and steaks, served only with the most premium herbs and spices and with authentic Italian ingredients. After all, taking Chef James’ words, Primadeli is a restaurant of comfort food with a gourmet touch.
